Answers to open questions in the German Online Seminar:
Adding the contract number of the telephone service provider in the Lithium Battery Mark
May the contract number of the telephone service provider be added to the telephone number in the Lithium Battery Mark? (e.g. UMCO ZDERF +49-...)
The telephone number in the Lithium Battery Mark is no 24h Emergency Contact telephone number. Yet if you also enter your 24h Emergency Contact telephone number here and you use a service provider for that, the want the contract number added.
When describing what needs to entered in the Lithium Battery Mark there is no comment on other information listed other than the required UN number and phone number. Therefore we advise to print the contract number outside the Red and White hatching and not within the Lithium Battery Mark.
Two questions are still open (Question 1: Liability when shipping without the UN 38.3 Test Summary and Question 2: Classifying burned lithium cells or batteries or burned equipment that contained cells or batteries).
When we get an expert answer on this, we´ll inform you via newsletter.
