Brasil air transport: New variation BRG-05: Tip for implementation

Since six weeks now the requirement from Brasil is in force that for UN specified packagings the certificate of approval or another confirmation by the approving authority needs to accompany the shipment.

There was the case of a shipment being stopped in transit in Miami because the certificate of approval was not in English. BRG-05 makes no reference to any language because the certificate of approval is usually in the language of the country of manufacture. And it takes considerable effort to translate such a certificate of approval when it covers several packagings. That´s why it is possible to send the certificate of approval in German. 

There is no legal requirement to present documents in English.
