Question of the day: Lithium Battery Mark instead of Lithium Battery Handling Label

Question of the day: Lithium Battery Mark instead of Lithium Battery Handling Label

I can no longer find the old Lithium Battery Handling Label 7.4.H in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Is there another label for "small “ lithium cells and batteries?
Our answer:
Since 01. January 2019, the Lithium Battery Handling Label for the “small” lithium cells and lithium batteries may no longer be used on all modes of transport.
There is now the new Lithium Battery Mark.  This Lithium Battery Mark is found in the IATA DGR under

And also the Class 9 hazard label was changed at the turn of the year on all modes of transport for the large lithium cells and lithium batteries to the Danger Label Model 9A respective the Lithium Battery Class 9 Hazard Label
In the IATA DGR this can be found under

The reason why the new Lithium Battery Mark cannot be found under 7.4.8 or 7.4.H is because it is no longer a handling label but only a mark.  In my opinion in section 7.4 all the markings should also appear.  But the IATA sees this differently.
The facilitation for the small lithium cells and lithium batteries do continue to exist, but now indicated by the lithium battery mark.

Our checklist articles include in addition to the checklist for transport preparation all the latest marks and labels for each transport case and if necessary an example of the required transport documents.
