Embargo on AEROFLOT Russian Airlines (SU) and Rossiya Airlines (FV) except for Section II of UN 3481 and Section II of UN 3091 from 25. May till 25 July 2018

Via OAL Inforwarding AEROFLOT Russian Airlines published the following today:
In preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2018 and as a government-imposed security measure during the tournament AEROFLOT Cargo will temporarily cease acceptance and carriage of civil and service weapons and dangerous goods of all categories on flights operated by AEROFLOT Russian Airlines (SU) and Rossiya Airlines (FV) from May 25th until July 25th 2018.

Exceptions:
- Medical-grade short living isotopes with a half-life of 66 hrs (subject to prior approval)
- Dry ice (when used as a cooland for other cargo)
- UN 3481 Lithium Ion Batteries contained in equipment, PI 966, Section II
- UN 3481 Lithium Ion Batteries packed with equipment, PI 967, Section II
- UN 3091 Lithium Metal Batteries contained in equipment, PI 969, Section II
- UN 3091 Lithium Metal Batteries packed with equipment, PI 970, Section II
